Founded in 2000, Veleucilište VERN (VERN University of Applied Sciences) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Zagreb (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Agencija za znanost i visoko obrazovanje (Agency for Science and Higher Education), Veleucilište VERN is a coeducational Croatian higher education institution. Veleucilište VERN offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Veleucilište VERN also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including as well as administrative services.
